At the heart of our activities and everything we do are our values. They define the character of EAL and guide us in how we make decisions.
Our values are:
We are here to fight wildlife crime, not for our ego
We work, we struggle, we give and we fight for one reason only: to protect wildlife from exploitation and criminal activities.
“United we stand, divided we fall”
We believe in an important saying: “United we stand, divided we fall”. Collaboration and a more cohesive international front are crucial to fight wildlife crime. We strive to create mutually fulfilling relationships and partnerships.
China could and should be a Partner
We like to see China as potentially a very important partner and it’s not our intention to judge, or to point the finger at anybody. The responsibilities behind the elephant’s tragedy, and wildlife crime in general, are multiple and shared by many countries and entities. All the governments involved, even only marginally as transit points, MUST show less corruption and more transparency and commitment.
We’re proud of what we do.
